DMCA and Copyright Policy

We respect copyright and respond to valid infringement complaints. This page explains what we can and cannot act on, and how to submit a notice.

What This Service Hosts

We host no video content. vkvideodownloader.com stores no media files, maintains no library, and offers no search, index or catalogue of VK videos. Nothing is uploaded to us and nothing is retained by us.

The tool performs a technical operation at a user's instruction: it resolves a VK address the user supplies and passes the resulting stream through to that user. All media remains hosted by VK on VK's own infrastructure.

Where a Takedown Is Most Effective

Because the file lives on VK's servers, the fastest and most complete remedy is to report the material to VK directly. A successful removal there makes the video unavailable everywhere at once, including through this tool and every other downloader.

We cannot remove a video from VK, and taking action on our side does not delete the underlying content.

Submitting a Notice to Us

If you are the copyright owner or an authorised agent and believe our service is being used to infringe your rights, send a written notice to the address on our contact page including the following:

  1. Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The specific VK URL or video identifier concerned, precise enough for us to identify it.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that under penalty of perjury you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

How We Respond

Valid notices are reviewed promptly. Where a complaint is substantiated, we will block the identified video from being resolved through our service and confirm this to you in writing.

Incomplete notices cannot be actioned, and we will say what is missing. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice carries liability for damages under applicable law, so please be sure of your claim before submitting one.

Counter-Notices

If your video was blocked and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the block resulted from error.

We will review it and, where appropriate, restore access.
